Hello,
I cannot send a log (flightplan, GPX, KML) from any of my Apple devices unless there is an available mail account in the Apple Mail Application.
I dont know since when that is the case, as I think it worked without some time ago.
I never use the Mail App but Gmail or other.

Is this the expected behaviour ?

Ah, thanks, I was confused by the mention of flightplan in brackets in your original post. I believe the APIs we use to create an email probably just use Apple's Mail app, but I am not sure about this. You would have thought an alternate mail app would be used, if Mail wasn't available, but that's down to the operating system. I don't think we've ever changed the APIs we use to create an email.

I suppose a Share-style option for flight logs would work better for you?
